Tempted by an apparently rising wind and some great sun, ventured out at Sandbanks on the sea side in an attempt to reach the tempting waves at Hook Bay. Got out ok... blobbed, but made it over the break etc. However, the wind totally disappeared, and ended up combining swimming and uphauling to arrive back through the break 45 minutes later, just in time for a concerned onlooker to cancel the coastguard call he'd made. Cheers mate!! Buddy Graham fared little better, but at least missed the circular current that trapped me for a bit. Bah! Next time!
